wow. It has been a while. While I was in Europe I wrote several posts, but since the site was being kinda screwy they never got up. If I get a chance, I'll go find them and put them up.
Update on my life:
I am almost done with the first term of my senior year! yay! My classes are a weird mix this term: Senior design which doesn't meet, but I end up putting more time into that then anything else, Communication Systems from 10-11am where we are learning the principles behind broadcast media among other things, Applied Linear Algebra for Engineers which is watered down lin alg and neither challenging nor interesting except for the teacher, and Electromagnetic Waves which is kinda interesting, but the book really sux.
Aside from that I have been putting a lot of time into my sorority with setting a good example and all, helping my best friend through having her wedding postponed, cancelled, and then dumped, and trying to get out at least once a week to spend time with some friends (usually alcohol is involved). I also grade about 15 hours a week and tutor calc once a week for fun and gas money.
Monday nights are becomming my favorites though. After chapter, several of us will go out to Tumbleweed for $1 margaritas ($1.50 if it is flavored) and generally get kinda roudy and hit on/harass the wait staff. Lots of fun. Tuesdays are fun too. I usually meet with the kid I tutor - not that at 18 he's a kid - around 7, and before we meet, his parents have taken to inviting me over for dinner. I miss home cooking so much. I feel so spoiled :-)
