I did a bad bad bad thing :-)
Sooo... I haven't actually bought a CD in a while: I think I last bought Basement Jaxx's Kish Kash over christmas since I found it used for like $7. Most of what I get is from going: 'ooh! I like that! who is it?? would you make me a copy??' to my friends or my dad. Anyway, I was on my way back from Chicago with my then boyfriend and one of our friends after most of a week of goofing off down there and this song comes on the radio that I had never heard before. I do that "Ooooh!" thing I do when I relly like something about as soon as the base line comes on, pump up the volume and procede to tune out the boys for the next several minutes while I car dance at 75mph. They laugh, but eh, who cares.
So I hear this song on the radio a few days ago and decide that I need it in a bad way (I think the guy in the apartment across from mine was playing it loud). Last night, I went to a scholarship dinner at my school, and my guest had popped the button off of his jacket and I offer to fix it so we go out to get buttons. Well, we were already out in that part of town, so I stop at the FYE in the mall and procede to get royally ripped off. Who the hell pays $19.99 for a single CD??? Good Lord. If I had not needed it and been heistant to get it off Kazaa or something, I would have just paid the eleven bucks or whatever on Amazon. Grr.
So the song is called 'Sugar' and it is by Trick Daddy with CeeLo and just has a groove that rox my world. Oh well. Ill post part of the lyrics:

Ok. So Ive been lazy...
Again, lots has gone on since my last update. I tried to get in here yesterday to post and the blogging site was down. oh well.
I spent a week in Cancun Mexico about a month ago and that was amazing. I went down with a bunch of my sorority sisters and in a week slept about 22 hours. We landed about midninght on Friday and hit the clubs. A bunch of us had bought inclusive passes and went to CocoBongo and watched this crazy show with people dressed as Michael Jackson, and X-tina, and all kinds of celebrities. I got back to the hotel around 4, and then hung out on the beach until about 6, crashed for a few hours, and then went and napped on the beach for a few hours. Around noon, we all went out to a place that had free beer, had some lunch, and chilled in the pool.
Again, we go out, find free drinks (we had open bar at another place) came home late, spent a few hours chilling on the beach, slept for a bit, and went to the beach with the sun. I was dark by the end of the week... and it looked good. Most of that week, the most I wore was a bikini and a pair of shorts or a sarong. When I got back to the Haute, I just threw all of my suitcase into the wash since everything that was not dirty when I got on the plane was nasty with sand by the time I got back :-).
I have also had several interviews, one of which was in Germany (didn't get that job), with various companies and will be accepting an offer from one of them by this weekend (YAY!). I am looking forward to going down there and doing the apartment search thing. I know what I want as far as price and space, and I just need to find it :-D It is crazy to think that in a couple of months I will be an enineer and in a few I will be working in industry... wow.
